Houston Rockets center Alperen Sengun has cemented his place among the NBA’s elite, becoming only the second Turkish player in history to earn All-Star status, 17 years after Mehmet Okur’s historic milestone.

The 22-year-old, who was selected 16th overall in the 2021 NBA Draft from Türkiye, will join 23 of the league’s top talents for the next NBA All-Star Game, set to take place on February 16.
